The Opportunity: Coordinate Measuring Machine (CMM) Programmer
Your Role: The CMM Programmer is responsible for creating CMM programs for machined parts using PC-DIMS software. In this role, you will provide support to the Quality and Engineering teams in investigating corrective actions and uphold the maintenance of inspection records and documentation in accordance with government, customer, and company standards.

The Opportunity: Coordinate Measuring Machine (CMM) Programmer
Your Role: The CMM Programmer is responsible for creating CMM programs for machined parts using PC-DIMS software. In this role, you will provide support to the Quality and Engineering teams in investigating corrective actions and uphold the maintenance of inspection records and documentation in accordance with government, customer, and company standards.
Responsibilities Included
- Create programs: Write code and instructions for the CMM to operate using PC-DIMS software
- Interpret blueprints: Use blueprints, manuals, and work instructions to design programs
- Study samples: Analyse sample parts to determine dimensions and setup requirements
- Inspect parts: Use precision instruments to inspect parts throughout production
- Detect malfunctions: Use precision instruments to identify machine issues
- Continuously refine programs to increase efficiency, precision, and speed
- Provide training and assistance to ensure operators use the CMM correctly
- Create documentation for programs, calibration, and measurement results
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications:
- Minimum education level of High School, GED, or its equivalent
- Familiarity with ISO compliant manufacturing environments
- Ability to read blueprints and proficient understanding of GD&T
- 3+ years of CMM programming experience with PC-DIMS
- 5+ years inspection experience in a precision machining environment
- 5+ years of CMM programming
- Previous exposure to operation and programming of CMM equipment

A reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this position is $25.00 - $29.00 per hour. The wage range for this role considers a wide range of factors when making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational requirements.
