The Opportunity: Manufacturing Engineer - Sheet Metal
Your Role: Under the direction of the Manufacturing Engineering Manager, you will create complex and highly technical quotes and process sheet metal parts and assemblies.
Responsibilities Include:
- Prepare job estimates including material pricing and labor during the bid process and ensures the scope of work is accurately interpreted.
- Review final estimate packages for accuracy/completeness
- Review specifications and project plans/drawings
- Arrange Bills of Materials
- Serves as the company representative when contacting vendors, internal and external customers
- Understands and applies procedures to increase or maintain profit levels established by management
- Able to confidently problem solve and direct process improvements.
- Able to work in a collaborative relationship with department supervisors to drive continuous improvement.
- Using a hands-on approach inclusive of interaction and collaboration with sheet metal, quality, and technical staff and the ability to communicate project progress to management.
- Collaborate with other departments and stakeholders to meet project objectives.
- Assist with other duties as assigned by the Manager.

Qualifications
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in manufacturing, Mechanical, Industrial Engineering, or related field
4+ years of experience as a Manufacturing Engineer
3+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment
Experience with blueprint reading and GD&T required.
Background in maintenance and process engineering
Basic understanding/knowledge of sheet metal as it relates to manufacturing parts and designing tooling.

A reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this position is $60,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year. The wage range for this role considers a wide range of factors when making compensation decisions including skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational requirements.
